New Home Construction Update

Hey Everyone!  Sorry I haven’t checked in this week.  Busy as usual around here.  I did take some time today to organize my pantry and my bathroom cabinets!  Made me feel productive.  I have also been slowly working on my latest piece of furniture, hopefully post to come this week.
I stopped by the new house we’ve been building in the neighborhood we are developing and it is finished!  We are hoping to get some good showings over the next few weeks and hopefully an offer.  It is the cutest house!  I have lots of pictures here, sorry none of the upstairs…my camera battery died.

The upstairs has two bedrooms and a large loft area just off the stairs that can be used as a playroom, bonus room, living area, or office.  There are also 3 bathrooms, 1 hall bath upstairs, master bath, and 1/2 bath downstairs.
If you are in the Raleigh area and are looking for a new home please email me for more details!  This house is in Zebulon, NC and it is really beautiful.
Hope everyone has a great Monday!

  1. Hi April, So glad you found me through Miss Mustard Seed. Ok I have to say I do dream realtor.com all the time looking for homes. I usually don't look at new just older homes. But somehow this exact house popped up. While I am not able to live that far north as hubby works at Ft. Bragg. I adore the homeplans. Love the layout, love the old time look to it. Very awesome vintage charm.
So, if we can find some land later on and need a house built- I will be sure to contact you to see if you all can build it or at least sell me plans.
I'm enjoying reading about your projects..so now you have a new follower too.
We really need to try to do a Raleigh area blog weekend or something- that would be awesome.

  2. Hi there!

Thanks so much for visiting my blog! I just moved to Raleigh a couple months ago so I'm glad we connected. This is such an adorable house! I just love this style. My mom is looking forward to moving here from Spokane, WA as soon as she can get her house there sold. I know that this is exactly the style that she is looking for and went through a few similar ones in Flowers Plantation when she was out last. I'll send her the link to this one!

  3. Hi Tammy & Kristen! Thanks for the comments on the house. It is a very lovable home. We are developing the neighborhood and have teamed up with a builder and started the first one. We are hoping to sell soon. Kristen-the builder we are using also builds in Flowers Plantation and I am sure you saw their homes. We currently live near Flowers and that is where we first found the builder. We Love the style they build. Here is a link to our neighborhood website if your Mom wants to check out, many more to build, there are 43 lots. http://www.glenirishomes.com/

We should plan a meet up in Raleigh sometime. I would love to meet some local bloggers. Nice to meet you both through this blog world :)
